The visual arts continue to be an integral part of the Penkhull Festival. In 2018, we were delighted to team up with Newcastle-under-Lyme gallery Trent Art, as our creative partners. They have already made their mark on Penkhull Festival, with outstanding exhibitions. With Trent Art, we are developing Penkhull's provision of artistic events and activities, including the introduction of a new series of prizes for local art students.

The 2020 Festival will see an exhibition featuring work by around a dozen fine artists, spread across the church and village hall, with Rob Pointon returning as Artist in Residence. Trent Art will host a reception and awards presentation at their gallery on the Sunday afternoon. This year, we have a new satellite event: on 13th and 14th June, there will be an exhibition of art students from four local secondary schools, in Penkhull Village Hall.

Details of all events can be found on the events page.
