Welcome to Penkhull FestivalEstablished in 1966, Penkhull Festival is a classical music and arts festival which takes place in Stoke-on-Trent each September. The festival's home is the historic Domesday village of Penkhull, surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Staffordshire moorlands.
Performers in recent years have included Voces8, the Tippett Quartet, Robert Thompson, Swansea Bach Choir, Jocelyn Freeman, Thomas Isherwood, Jonathan Fisher, Miriam Wakeling, Christopher Guild, and Equinox Saxophone Ensemble. We hope you enjoy exploring the website, and look forward to welcoming you to one of our events. Penkhull Festival 2022This September, we welcome to Penkhull Festival virtuoso guitarist Peter Black, baritone Julien van Mallearts with pianist Jocelyn Freeman, and the National Youth Chamber Choir, conducted by Greg Hallam. We are also delighted to welcome Simon Berridge (The Sixteen) to deliver our re-launched vocal masterclass.
